Hello World!

Hi There!

I’m Sera. Not my real name, obviously. I want to keep the anonymity so I get to share my thoughts without having that feeling of shoving it down people’s throats.

If you found this blog, it would mean you’re going through similar things. Or you just happened to stumble upon this site while going through a rabbit hole much like how I end up somewhere on the internet.

Take heed, if you do decide to come with me on my adventures, it will be chaotic. Some days I’m cataloging ideas, others I’m breaking systems on purpose, often I’m just making tea and noticing the small, imperfect details of being human.

If you’re up for the unpredictability of it all, let’s go!

For the uninitiated, a Beleziana (Drosera x Beleziana) is a carnivorous plant with small spoon-like leaves that secretes globules of sticky substances. Once a bug lands–And subsequently sticks–on the leaf, it curls on to itself and slowly digests the unsuspecting victim. I had my first Beleziana I think in 2022.…

You’d assume that having been a Corporate Slave for almost 16 years you’d at least get some assurance that you’ll be in that job until you decide to move on to the next or retire. Just this week, a bunch of my co-workers were given notice. It’s been months of…
